Clean and warm

Eating was a little tight for our family of four

This is probably one of my favourite property stays ever because it felt so welcoming. Jacqui and Rex have done everything they can to make it feel like a beautiful, relaxing space. It is immaculately clean. The bedrooms are fresh with lovely carpet, linen on the beds, great wardrobes and excellent window furnishings. The rooms felt instantly inviting and comfortable. The separate kitchen worked super well, and had lovely little treats and tea. The best equipped kitchen! Generous quantities of plates, bowls and cooking things which always makes the kitchen feel much more worthwhile (even if we didn't cook!). The best size mugs. The home was super cosy with great central heating (which we turned off whenever we were out because the house kept the heat so well), electric blankets, cosy throw rugs, and fabulous heated flooring in the bathroom and a heated towel rail. They have also put a pay as you use EV charger on the wall, I just didn't have the correct plug. If you are travelling with an EV and don't have the right cable to charge at the house, consider just using the slow charging bays in town rather than the fast charging one near the Council chambers, it isn't fast even when not shared at 6:30am. I was travelling with our daughter for a conference and it was such a super fabulous base. We both loved it. Very grateful to Jacqui and Rex for sharing their property with us.

We loved everything about our stay. There is only one bathroom, but unless this is a big issue, don't let it deter you from booking here.

Beautiful and clean house. Had everything g you wanted and needed plus all the extras like cookies and chocolate and bathroom products.

The beds were a little too firm for our liking. But the linen was lovely.

Very comfortable, great heating , well equipped kitchen. Location is quiet and plenty of parking.
