Classic Malay House in KL City Centre

Very beautiful property. We absolutely loved the unique, traditional design and layout of the buildings and rooms. The fountains and ponds in the courtyards were a welcome oasis from the heat and urban city setting. The rooms were decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Host was very friendly and helpful. The closest train station, Damai LRT, is a 5 minute walk from the property which had all the stops we needed to explore the main attractions.

Was eaten by mosquitos on the last night, mossie nets would be helpful

Beautiful, comfortable and idiosyncratic accommodation that we loved - really felt that you were in a new place! The courtyard gardens were wonderful - lush with lots of flowing water. Our ground floor garden rooms had everything you needed

There were a few mosquitoes because of the water, although the regularly replaced mosquito coils kept them at bay.

Quirky, one of a kind accommodation with wonderful hosts who gave us food recommendations and sorted out a minor problem that we had. Really enjoyed meeting them.

The location of this property is wonderful, the owner was very friendly and accommodating and arranged a baby cot for us during our stay she also happily gave us fresh towels when asked. The accommodation is quirky and the decoration is unique but maintenance is required throughout.

Even though the property is beautiful and quirky it needs a bit of love. The walkways to our accommodation is made up of heavy wooden sleepers but in spots these are rotting, in our room there was an old mattress stored under our bed and the beds were so hard that one of us had to sleep on the daybed instead. Mattresses and pillows do not have protective covers so are stained, the sink in our bathroom leaked so badly on the floor that you couldn't wash your hands there (the owner did turn the water off after we reported it and placed a bucket under the sink). In some spots the curtains were falling down and the kitchen still had dishes in the drying rack from previous guests.
