An amazing location for base camp during your visit to Porto and surrounding towns. All the points of interest are within walking distance. Train and subway station a couple of blocks away. The most amazing sunset just around the corner! The host Joao was exceptional. He gave us tips and suggestions about places to visit and where to eat authentic local food. We had a concern about the sofa bed and he promptly answered. The unit was clean and well equipped with the basic kitchen utensils and small appliances that we barely used since there are a lot of bakeries, cafes and restaurants nearby to keep your belly happy. Good size fridge for everything else though. There is a convenience store at the corner. The only issue was the lift out of order. The host deeply apologized and explained us that we got a discounted price from his regular rate on our stay to compensate for the inconvenience. It was our first visit to Portugal and we will definitely come back to this property our next time in Porto! Two thumbs up!

Washroom has poor ventilation. Bad odours and shower moisture may linger more than expected but not a deal breaker.

Well-equipped apartment, enough room for 3 persons. Great location with a parking garage only a few minutes walk away.

The place was rather cold, neither the radiators nor the AC were functioning. There was a small oil heater that was only enough to heat one room - either the living room or the bedroom. Fortunately the owner was really helpful and he quickly provided a second heater. I guess it's due to the lack of proper heating that the air smells a bit moldy.

Everything. Very well equipped, superb location, helpful owner. Very comfortable.
