Beautiful deign of an ancient natural building I loved it!

Excellent location. Large rooms with lots of natural light. Squeaky clean. Well appointed kitchen. On arrival, I had to message the hosts to drive over and hand they key (this can be tricky if u don’t have a way to make local calls/txt on your phone. The ac and wifi worked fine.

There are 30+ steps to the apt. It can be a challenge if u have difficulties climbing stairs. There are a total of 4 doors that need to be unlocked and locked in order to access the apt. Just outside the apt (near the entrance) there is a bad sewage smell. However, once u get in through the main door, there is no smell. The upstairs bedroom does not have the bathroom attached. If u want to use the bathroom at night, u have to climb down one flight of steps. Finally, there was no shower gel or shampoo/conditioner provided and no extra roll of toilet paper in the apt. Despite these small irritants, i would still choose to stay at this place as all the other benefits outweighed the small disadvantages.

The location was great for exploring central Modica on foot. The property is in the heart of the city. There was free parking nearby which was perfect.
