Enjoy the gorgeous million-dollar views of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony, den and kitchen of this lovely sixth-floor condo at Sterling Sands in the heart of Destin. There are only a few things in life more relaxing than watching the tide come in and roll out.
This 6th-floor 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom floor plan offers a fantastic bedding arrangement, with a queen in the primary bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Guest room has a double bed. This spacious 864 square foot unit comfortably sleeps 4 people. The updated kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops is sure to please everyone from the gourmet cook to those that will only spend enough time in the kitchen to prepare a quick lunch.

Beach view was great. So beautiful

Overall this was an excellent place to stay. Though a bit on the expensive side (compared to previous stays in nearby Panama City Beach), the location and family friendly atmosphere was great! The resort was decent, but the elevators left a bit to be desired. One of the two occasionally didn’t work and the interior was only foam board, and a bit unsettling to get into the first few times. The stairwells were a bit creepy and fully enclosed. The rest of the property was well maintained. The pool area was great as well as the beach. Due to limited access, the beach was not as crowded, so that was lovely and relaxing.In regard to room 604 specifically. It was nice and clean. It was on the small side, but the space was more than enough for my husband and I and our son. We did have some trouble with the door securely latching at one point in our trip, but the host was very quick to reply and have maintenance fix the issue. Also, when we originally booked, the listing indicated beach service was included. However, when we arrived, the beach attendant told me that none of the properties automatically have beach service now. When I contacted the host, she was very quick to apologize and remedy the situation. The view from 604 was beautiful. The appliances were updated and having a washer and dryer in the room was awesome. Though some of the furniture was a bit outdated, it lent to a “beach” vibe. Overall great stay!!

The property is located in a central location with everything you need nearby. The views from the patio/deck are beautiful. However, the condo is in need of some TLC and a "refresh". The instructions regarding beach services aren't provided (there are only 2 chairs and 1 umbrella included, you pay for any additionalitems) and the other details (location of HOA office, how to download the app) are outdated. Again, some simple updating would make the stay more enjoyable. Overall happy with our stay.
