Podgorica is boring

Elevator worked most days during my stay. The bed was comfortable.

As a digital nomad I am more likely to use the kitchenware and amenities, because I stay longer and try to live like a local. The pots and pans were so scratched up and damaged, along with the burnt out kettle, that they’re clearly just for show so the host can tick a box saying it’s possible to cook there. This is more and more common in airbnb & booking. When I wanted to use the washing machine the host had someone drop off powder, because none was provided. Nor was a drying rack. There are two lines on the balcony for guests who would like to hang their clothes and pick them up later from the pavement 6 floors down. Please provide clothes-pegs. Podgorica is not worth visiting even for a day. I hope others will learn from my mistake.

The apartment is sufficient, well located, close to the center. There is an elevator in the building. From the window there was a nice view of the mountains and the city. The host is very friendly. We liked Podgorica very much, we will definitely come back here :)

Great value, clean apartment with excellent host

The apartment was clean, as described, had what we needed. The airconditioning worked really well, the wifi was speedy. Bed comfortable and towels clean! It's was very good value for money. Our host Valdimir was super helpful - he collected us from the airport and took us to the apartment. He was really communicative and fast to respond. We were given a tip for a local restaurant and it was EXCELLENT (really enjoyed the wine too!). It was a 15 min walk to the bus station and about 10 minutes to the old town.

The apartment did smell a little of cigarette smoke. But otherwise we loved everything else.

Great place on the top floor

Had everything I needed (didn’t use the kitchenette so can’t comment on that part). Comfy bed. Clean (considering that the apartment has been around for a while, so there is some wear and tear). Landlord very responsive and flexible (my bus was massively delayed until quite late but check in was completely smooth nonetheless). Views are good from the 5th floor. Would definitely go there again.

Sleeping with windows open turned out to be too loud as local drivers speed on the street below (with closed windows: ok). Not sure if the apartment was advertised with „balcony“: it’s just a French Balcony.
