Hostal Vista a la Sierra

Hostal Vista a la Sierra is managed by a very nice, helpful elderly couple. As a welcome, we received a nice cold bottle of water, which we greatly appreciated. Although we did not speak Spanish and they did not speak English, we managed to communicate. Our assigned room is more like an apartment, which was very comfortable and clean for our stay. The patio in the backyard is only accessible when one of the managers is present. On his own initiative, the manager picked out delicious ripe figs for my wife from the large fig tree on the patio. We look back on a successful stay at Hostal Vista a la Sierra.

Valle de Abdalajís is a charming, authentic white village in Andalusia. Given that the village itself has no particular sights and, in our opinion, is not very geared towards tourists, it remains very suitable as a base and/or transit point to the many attractions Andalusia has to offer.

Comfy bed, friendly owner, easy parking (no need to go through the narrow city streets). The room gets cleaned every day. It's perfect for trips to Caminito del Rey and Antequera.

The owner doesn't speak English. The facilities in the room are quite limited (as mentioned on the booking page) - we got a water kettle and some plastic cups, but there is no fridge and no plates nor cutlery.
