This property is a prime location just steps from the Arnarstapi Coastal walk. Late September is not peak season but there were still several restaurants open near by.

Amazing location, a few meters walk to the cliffs, the huts are small but functional and clean. They have a small kitchen area with microwave, fridge and water cooker!
It’s very random, but to our delight when we first arrived 4 young foxes seemed to have been living on the property. Unfortunately, a hunter had been hired to shoot those young foxes exactly the day we arrived which a) very unfortunate to whiteness the end of these cute young foxes and b) very disconcerting having a hunter with a gun on the property while guests are present and pursuing the foxes.

The location was fantastic! It was the perfect base for exploring the peninsula, and we could spend the whole day sightseeing without having to rush back to Reykjavík. The rooms were comfortable, parking was easy and convenient, and we loved being within walking distance of several nearby restaurants.
The hot water was somewhat limited, although there was still enough for a good shower. Food options in the area are also limited, especially earlier in the day, as most of the nearby restaurants don’t open until 11 a.m. I’d recommend planning ahead and stopping at a grocery store beforehand if you’ll need breakfast or snacks.

Great location.
Many things in poor repair: blinds not working, noisy fridge, small boiler with limited hot water. Also one of our cottages had a view to a parking lot. And you cannot park close to the other, hence spend a lot of lugging your gear back and forth. The cottages overall are made very cheap and spartan, evidently calculating on the limited choice available and tallying with the Icelandic style of maximizing profit from tourism with questionable quality.
