Terrible

Very dirty , very cold heater no working well my kids been sick no any facilities , spouse to be last day leave at 11:00 am but she came at 9:00 am shouted us and force me to put plate back on cabinet but already first day as soon arrive charge me €275 cash for extra service but no didn’t get any extra service ! Please take my advise don’t waste money for shit place even rooms smell shit , very poor place

Fantastic region, but do not go to this property!

The location, I am afraid was the only thing we liked First time since I use Booking that I cannot avoid writing a very negative review

Upon receiving confirmation of our booking I sent a text message asking to book sauna and beddings plus cleaning services. Not receiving any answer I sent an email. No answer. Few days before arrival, I got a call from the owner who had obviously not read any of my messages. Once there, all very dirty, including cupboards, oven, kitchen utensils. We called the owner, who offered to send cleaning stuff the day after. We needed to cook and overall use the place, so we declined and cleaned ourselves. Pictures were provided to prove what we said. one bed missed three mattress slats: mattress sank in the holes. We told the owner. She said she would send someone to fix it the day after. It was the Christmas holidays so we understand this would be not easy. But silence for two entire days: only when I called again did someone came for a quick fix. cost of cleaning: 55 euros on booking against 90 euros asked by owner. Same for the use of sauna: 140 euros on Booking, and 180 by the owner. We did not use it as no longer available: our request had not been read. Given the fact that we had cleaned the place ourselves, the owner did not make us pay for the cleaning fees in the end. that was appreciated. In one of the rooms instead of the beddings for two single beds, as we asked and got confirmation for, we got one double duvet, stained, and, most useless, two single duvet covers. Results: One person had to sleep covering with a bed throw. handles for kitchen cupboard, bedroom drawers, kitchen tap came off. Wi-Fi not working 'due to strong winds' sometimes in the recent days. Place extremely humid and not insulated: without heating the floor would be frozen. We did one laundry in 9 days and still wet two days after. We speak for 'La Cauchoise', which is one of the little houses on the 'Au fil de l'eau' property. We do not know what condition other houses are. Mind you: from the pics on booking one does not know which houses they correspond to.

Lovely

Very nice floating gite, very nicely decorated, on the water. Despite the bad weather we enjoyed our stay despite having to cut it short due to the UK quarantine rules. We would consider as a destination in the future rather than a stop off from the south, and remember our fishing rods!

the gite would have become very cosy for our two families of 4 adults and 6 kids quite quickly but a smaller group would be fine.

Superbe expérience ressourçante !

Superbe expérience au temps pour les grands que les petits ! Le lieu est incroyable ! Si vous voulez vous ressourcer et être au calme c'est l'endroit idéal. La cabane était bien équipée (cuisine, produits ménagers, ect). Très bonne literie, belle terrasse, salle de bain assez spacieuse, l'accès aux barques pour faire un tour sur l'étang.

Rien, tout était super ! Peut-être prévoir des plaids pour les frileux en hiver car on sent légèrement le froid via le sol dans la salle à vivre mais il y a pas mal de radiateurs dans la cabane donc c'est top !

Heerlijke plek! Rust en ruimte!

Dit is echt een fantastische locatie als je van rust houdt! Het is ook een prima plek om vandaaruit uitstapjes te maken (Etretat; Rouen, maar ook D-Day hebben we gedaan).

Je moet wel ff 7 min rijden voor de bakker maar dat is goed te doen. Wij waren met zijn vieren en dus wat het huis lekker ruim, met zijn tienen is het wel redelijk vol denk ik.
