Friendly and proactive customer service. Breakfast was included. Helpful finding us another driver with a larger vehicle who did an excellent job of driving us to Masi Mara and Nairobi.

Rainy season. Room was somewhat cold and like to have a heater if available. The lodge keeper Brian attempted to come up with an itinerary for us in our drive back to Nairobi with an overnight at a safari camp that we had booked for one night at the Masai Mara, that sounded to good to be true. The driver was unaware of the route that he would have to take, and was taking us the safe route on asphalt that did not have some of the promised sights we had been texted when being quoted a price for our driver and vehicle. When he learned about the itinerary, he tried to adjust his route, that took us into some dangerous back roads, with rains got stuck twice, with several helpful people getting us unstuck, eventually coming to the Mara River that was washed out and missed almost all the sights we had been promised, along with a nonrefundable one night safari for two people, that was very disappointing.

The cottages were spacious and had all amenities. The food was more than enough and of great quality.
