The Shed With A View

Lovely setting, very comfortable, great facilities, friendly host. What more could one ask for?

We stayed at the Shed With a View for 4 nights, and it was equipped with everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals in, and the kitchen was perfect -- has everything. The location is lovely, quiet, rural, and beautiful. Fantastic countryside walks right on the doorstep, and the views from the "shed" were fantastic. We were there in a cold snap, it was -6 degrees, but we were cosy and warm inside, so don't worry about being cold. The shed is more than just a shed, very well built and insulated.

The location was perfect. It is a nicely but modern shed with all what is required for a nice stay. It is a very quiet area lost in the middle of the country side but close eanough to small cities (15mins by car). The view is beautiful and you have pently of walks available nearby.

The roads to get there are very narrowed and the hedges were not cut, which is not helping keeping your car ok, or contributing to a safety feeling (should you encounter another driver). Perhaps it should maybe made more clearer on the description.

Gorgeous ‘shed’ with a spectacular view. We visited on a cold Dec weekend and it was warm and cosy. Shelia and Mike were extremely welcoming hosts. We loved the location, great walks nearby and so peaceful. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and the place was clean and practical. Our dog adored watching the cows in the next field from the balcony! We will be back.
