Everything was excellent. I booked a room for 4 people. In most hotels, it is either one large room with 4 beds, or two separate rooms connected by a door, each with two beds. In this hotel, however, the large room was divided into two smaller rooms: one with two single beds, and the other with a double bed. The hotel is relatively close to the Haram. Once, we were just a few minutes late for the shuttle to the Haram, so we took a taxi instead and it cost us only 15 SAR.

We stayed for two nights, and on both nights, actually late night, we experienced an issue with the water in the toilet. I’m not sure if it was a problem limited to our room only, but since we were able to resolve it ourselves, Alhamdulillah, I didn’t think it was worth complaining about. The problem was that the shattaf stopped dispensing water and started making a hissing sound, as if there was an airflow issue. The same thing happened with the basin faucet. We fixed it by fully opening both faucets and pressing the shattaf for a few minutes until the water began to flow smoothly again. During day, there was no problem,

I liked the cleanliness although the room I got (808) was ok and close to the lift. Usually I ask for changing it, but since I was in Makkah for prayer and not to spend time in hotel I didn’t really bother. But they could have given a better room with less noise from lift area.

I was disappointed with both the restaurant food and the overall attitude of the female staff at reception and in the cafeteria. I did not feel I was treated with the level of respect one would expect as a customer. Throughout my visit, I remained quiet and respectful, mindful of the cultural setting and the fact that I was on pilgrimage, and I avoided unnecessary interaction, including limiting eye contact out of consideration. I also observed a noticeable difference in how staff interacted with other Arab customers, who appeared to receive a warmer and more welcoming response. The food quality was also unsatisfactory. The meals did not seem fresh; the meat often tasted old and at times undercooked. In addition, the buffet offered very limited options, and the food lacked flavour. I am sharing this feedback constructively in the hope that improvements can be made and that all customers are treated equally, with courtesy and respect. Islam teaches equality, of all people in the world I am surprised while people in Holy place doesn’t understand it at all!!
