Paapu House

Loved my stay at Paapu House. The staff are all so welcoming and the vibe with live music is great. It’s located in a convenient area and the owner is super helpful with questions and organizing of tours. The happy hour specials were also a lovely bonus.

The live music can be pretty loud if you are there on that night and goes on until late. Best to join in or not book on that day if you would prefer a quiet evening.

I absolutely adored this place! After all my travels around the world, I can honestly say this ranks as my number one. The entire atmosphere is magical — beautifully rustic, charming, and full of character. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, incredibly comfortable, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The downstairs restaurant is absolutely stunning, and I’m genuinely surprised that such a hidden gem is so affordable. Everything about this place feels special, from the warm hospitality to the unforgettable experience. I agree that leaving is the hardest part — this truly feels like my own little paradise.

All perfect! There’s a little house cat and I’m allergic but she was no issue and didn’t come too close. The saddest thing for me is I wanted to extend my stay but it was fully booked!

Location is amazing, just outside the block of the old city. Great food and chill music downstairs, clean rooms with full bathrooms (shared and well kept up!) upstairs and shared balconies to read on etc Its a jazz bohemian feel with a lot of heart and soul and comfort.
