Villa Matko - family destination

2 families with 4 adults, 2 teenagers & 2 kids 9&11. Facilities are great with something for everyone. House is modern, very comfortable, lots of space with everything you need. The Pool table, football table, gym etc all in great condition. Outdoor soccer pitch can be used at night/evening as well when it was cooler as its floodlight. Fantastic views looking down the valley from the pool including a glorious sunsets every night. BBQ area great for a big family meal. The area is great as Imotski is only 5mins drive with shops & great bakeries (Pekeriana). Also a lovely restaurant 10mins walk where we had a great traditional meal, the Pek Pek take away there also which is very popular & the food is great (especially pizzas). Also there a new outside bar by the river there just setup by paddle imotski where you can rent kayaks (def recommend for all ages/ability) & have cocktails to round off the evening or just chill & have the cocktails under the tress :). Great base as lots in the area like the lakes etc only mins drive but the sea is also only 35mins drive with great snorkelling, jump off rocks etc. Bosnia border only a few KM away so easy to get to Mostar (which is a must) or Međugorje if you want. Easy access to Split (70mins drive) & would recommend a day islands speedboat tour (go from Trogir as easier parking and a lovely town to walk around after). Lastly our host Matko was outstanding, friendly, available with advice or any issues & goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect while still really respectful of your privacy.

Vermieter sehr freundlich, Lage super, sehr ruhig. Der Pool war das beste. Ausstattung auch sehr gut. Schachbrett auf Hof war auch sehr schön.

Great location, quiet secluded place. Big house which is very well equipped. All you need is there. Many attractions like table tennis, billiards, small football pitch and great swimming pool. Host is very nice and helpful. We have spent great time there.

Nothing

The vila is on the top of the hill, we have beautiful views in every direction. The accommodation was very clean, we had everything we needed and more :-) The swimming pool is the best one we have ever experienced in similar private vilas. Our children were more than satisfied. Everything was exactly as on the pictures. The location of Zmijavci is ideal for discovering Dalmatia, for visiting various beaches of Makarska riviera or even for visiting Bosna. Everybody will find something interesting. And last but not least, Matko (the host) was friendly, helpful, polite - simply perfect host, anytime prepared for help or advice. Thank you.
