Best place in Navigli

The location is very good, it's tucked in quiet spot at the center of Navigli. The place is private and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The host is also very accommodating. I'll stay here again. - the place is complete with small kitchen and even a washing machine is available.

Cozy, clean, and well-kept apartment.

We had a wonderful experience staying at apartment vicolo lavandai. The communication with the host was amazing. She met us at the door as she lives near the cozy apartment. She showed us everything there is to know and told us about the area. The apartment is very convenient, close to all the restaurants by the canal in Navigli, so one can safely take nice walks during the day and night. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy within walking distance. There is easy access to the tram that would take you near the Duomo. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable as well. If we return to Milan, I would love to stay at this place again. I definitely recommend it!

Very friendly host, thanks for receiving me so late. Location is wonderful, truly a hidden paradise in a thriving neighborhood :). The apartment itself is compact and sufficient.

I woke up quite a few times at night & morning because of poor sound insulation with neighbours. WiFi speeds very slow, making it difficult to work. Not much natural sunlight, some small lights could help.

Great, cozy, unique place; would stay again.

The location is great. Tram/bus station is nearby, along with a touristy street with restaurants, bars and pretty views, so atmosphere is 10/10. The apartments itself is unique and cozy. It’s quiet at night, and it doesn’t get too hot since it’s kinda hidden away. I personally loved it.

Wifi wasn’t really working well, and air conditioning was a bit noisy, although that wasn’t a problem for me.

Tucked away in the heart of the vibrant Navigli district, this charming studio is perfectly located just steps from the canal, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, vintage shops, and nightlife all within walking distance — yet the apartment itself remains quiet and peaceful. The studio is bright, spotless, and tastefully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. From the cozy bed to the well-stocked kitchenette and clean modern bathroom, every detail has been thoughtfully arranged. Chris, the owner, was a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She made check-in seamless, offered great local recommendations, and was always available if we needed anything. Her hospitality made the experience feel truly personal. If you’re looking for an authentic Milanese experience in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood, this studio on Vicolo Lavandai is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for solo travelers or couples wanting both comfort and character during their stay.

Small apartment in nice neighborhood

Great location in the very nice neighborhood of Navigli. Metro station close by. Nice contact with owner and she came to greet us in the street.

Quit small and dark apartment, many mosquitos. The beds were not great, especially the couch-bed downstairs. For one or two night it’s ok, but we were glad we did not stay longer.

Close to a metro station, it was super easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Host was helpful with all our questions, very professional and polite. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Our daughter slept on the pull out bed and said it was quite comfortable.

Compact quiet haven in Navigli. You will be assured a good night sleep so you can explore all day.

Excellent location. The Navigli area is the best and so easy to find your way around to all the sights by foot. Not to mention great shopping close by. Despite being in a popular and busy part of Milan the apartment is quiet at night, slept well in a comfortable bed. Small city apartment but plenty of room in the bedroom to spread out.

No view but this didnt really matter as we spent most of the time exploring. Good lighting and plenty of windows to create an ambience

I recommend this place because of the location and the owner

I liked the location where I have seen the mixture of the past and nowadays specially when I accessed the property. the location is great as there are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. However, the owner Mis- Chris is really what you need when traveling. she is so nice and keen for her customers. she always provides help and makes sure that you have what you need. I appreciate that she helped me to call a taxi to take me to the train station.

the apartment doesn’t have a view , but for me it was fine since I were going out all the time.

the leaving area is small but well organized. a very narrow staircase takes you to a large bedroom. confortable bed. very quiet. Nice to walk from the apartment to the Duomo, 25 minutes through amazing neighbourhoods

Perfectly located, super clean and friendly host

Incredible location, spotlessly clean, compact yet spacious and it has all you need. It was cool and ideal for a few nights. Close to Metro, train, tram, buses and good restaurants, also 30 mins from the centre to walk if you fancy that. Chris was super welcoming and communication beforehand was clear and helpful. The area is super busy and lively with locals and tourists alike. Perfect if you seek some good nightlife. The studio, although located so central, still felt very secure and the square has two exits leading to main areas of the district. We recommend Mag cafe for cocktails and Le Striatelle di Nonna Mafalda for authentic Italian food for very good prices.

The air con was a bit noisy, we needed it for the night so it was difficult to get good sleep. Additionally, we could hear the gate bang outside whenever people came or left so not for someone with light sleep. The windows had only blinds so you could see light get through - again not ideal for someone who is sensitive to brightness.
