Very nice

The room and shared kitchen were nice and clean. The shared kitchen is very cosy at night. It was great to have your own coffee machine in the room. The receptionists were very kind. Location is perfect for going on a hike to Djevelporten.

My husband found his bed to be a bit small, for.me the size was fine There was no body soap or shampoo in the bathroom.

Good value for money, clean, good location.

It’s a good value for money place. The rooms are not very big but they are enough. There is kitchen and bathroom in the room, not the newest but clean and providing all necessities. We were greeted by a super nice lady who showed us around, personnel is very friendly and that’s a massive plus! There is also bigger kitchen for common use, two external terraces and one closed terrace for bad weather. Plenty of parking spaces. Would book again - we were pretty happy with this place.

a fantastic view of a never-ending sunset

- very close to the sea water - the room facing west, so a brilliant view of sunset - just a few minutes drive to downtown and can get everything you need - the washing machine helps with the laundry and the bright sunshine helps to dry it up! Excellent

- no window of the room, poor ventilation. - even feel hot inside after long hours of sunshine (though a small electric fan is provided in the room)

Really lovely little place that was very convenient to accessing all that svolvaer had to offer.

Lovely location close to the airport and the famous hikes, just a 20 minute walk into the center. Very spacious kitchen and sunroom. Friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere.

The only issue we had was that the fire alarm went off at 3am, but there was no fire. We waited a few minutes and it was turned off after the situation was assessed.

Friendly Svolvaer home away from home

Everything. Outstanding customer service. So friendly and helpful. Great sun porch and big kitchen. Having a washing machine made a big difference on a long trip - it makes taking just a carry-on bag possible.

The second room was a bit too small. The bunk bed was too low and not suitable for adults.

Near the hiking trailhead.

Though it’s not in town, it’s not too far to walk there. It’s close to the trailhead and that’s was our initial purpose to stay here. Staff was responsive in the message. Kitchen is fully equipped.

Absolutely idyllic location , great views , five minutes walk from the famous devils gate trail head , about 1km walk from main city svolvaer . Such a large and well equipped kitchen with kitchenettes in-room too

Wonderful staff, great hospitality!! The staff made exceptional effort to help us and make our stay comfortable, they helped a lot with information about the place. The room was big and comfy, comfy bed, smart TV, clean bathroom with hot water. Amazing place!

The location was bit far from the center, although it is walkable or you can rent bikes from the property and it’s only 5 mins by bicycle.

The location is spectacular with beautiful views of the mountains. Close to a pub and a cafe and basically the best spot in town. Service is excellent as is the hotel restaurant.

Our initial cabin was very cramped and claustrophobic. We asked for a change and were rewarded with a wonderful cabin for the rest of our stay !

Wished we had stayed longer.

We loved our stay here. The weather was perfect and the deck was great to soak up the sun. We watched boats go in and out and people climbing the mountain. It was a well-equipped apartment with everything you need for a short stay. We were sad that we were only there for one night. Loved having a fan as the rooms in Norway can get hot with curtains closed to block out the midnight sun.

It's a reasonable walk to town after a long day but flat.
