Great location but needs some maintenance

Great location, good setup, easy access with code to the door.

Needs a deep clean and some maintenance. While nothing major was wrong, there was missing a curtain / blind on one window, several light bulbs weren’t working, doors wouldn’t close properly, and both toilet seats were falling off. Not what you’d expect from a property at this price point. Should also send check-in procedure in advance, followed by code when property is ready. Received no check-out information at all. Property was listed as having 2x double beds and 2x twin rooms but only had 1x double and 3x twin rooms.

A fantastic house with 4 bedrooms, with a huge terrace fronting the water, large living room and spacious + full equipped kitchen. The room with balcony from the floor is gorgeous view! Reserve time before, we got a good price, when we looked during the trip was almost 60% higher and no availability. Last but not least, host offered us a compensation dinner at Nordic restaurant, which I recommend as a fantastic place to eat, especially if you are keen of fish & sushi!

Arrival was a disaster, door lock was broken so it did not open. We called the number 20 times, listened for a robot saying the program ended at 16, tried all options. Wrote on booking, wrote mails … nothing for hours. It was 22, standing with the kid and luggage in front of the house Finally we found an unlocked door at the terrace and broke in like thieves, only message received after some hours was that a (very kind) neighbor who also was calling and SMS for us told them we entered!!! It was very very stressing! Second, I talked with host, he offered us the compensation dinner (see above) and promised to send a hair dryer which was missing. Very fast 6 days later, we left … never arrived a hair dryer… To me this shows few resources trying to cover the job, even well intentioned.

Superb

Nice and clean rooms with sufficient spaces. There are two bath rooms which we can share for five people. The living room is a bit small but warm and cozy. Kitchen is well equipped with all we need for cooking our dinner.

It would be great if there is a toaster and Nespresso machine 😉

great position- nice structures- very spacious- well equipped-

the house was not perfectly clean. we found two disgusting dirty towels in the bathroom from previous costumer. we asked to remove them and for one day none has answered. dishing machine still full once we arrived. this can be a 8 given position that is the best in svolvaer.

Cozy cabin right on the harbour

Cozy place to stay, with almost all amenities you need. Jacuzzi was really nice, especially in winter time. The staff was super friendly.

Disappointed

DISAPPOINTED. 10.7: checked in late in evening and found no toilet paper and the last tablet of washing mashing. 11.7: in morning, called service number. Told that they would provide tablet and toilet paper today. After travelling back, toilet paper was put at the entrance. Tablet was not there. Called the service number again, the stuff told me that tablet should be in the drawer under the sink. I checked again and nothing there. The stuff told me they promised to provide the tablet tomorrow. 12.7: We had a long hiking and back at the midnight. Nothing happened. No tablet. Dishes used in breakfast has to cleaned by hand and everyone after hiking was so tired. Sent message and complain this issue and nobody responded until we checked out (13.7). My point is: If the cabin cannot provide something, it is ok but notify us clearly. We can buy by ourselves. However, if the cabin promised something, we, as customers, would fully trusted the cabin. In the end, the cabin did not fullfil it without explanation. That is why feel disappointed. As can be seen in the picture, the stuff told me that the tablet should be in the bottom-left corner, but nothing there......

La Rorbuer è bellissima, ottime le camere e le parti comuni, con cucina ben attrezzata per organizzare i pasti. Splendida posizione. Comunicazione per accesso chiara e precisa. Parcheggio gratuito disponibile in loco.

Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Die Innenstadt von Svolvær ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Aussucht ist grandios. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche kann man gut kochen. Die Betten sind etwas weich. Zum Haus gehören zwei Terrassen, so dass man sowohl morgens wie auch nachmittags in der Sonne sitzen kann. Wir waren eine Woche da. Ein Handtuchwechsel nach drei oder vier Tagen wäre noch gut gewesen, aber so ging es auch. Parkplatz direkt neben dem Haus. Für sechs Personen war das Haus ideal.
