Casa da Mouraria

The host for this property is great - she met us at the apartment to show us around and she also gave us great tips on places to eat and things to do while we were in Faro. The apartment is tastefully furnished and very well equipped. There are bathrooms downstairs and upstairs, so no need to take the stairs when you need to use the bathroom. There is air conditioning in the living room, as well as the bedrooms, which is great when the weather is hot. There is a lovely little courtyard out the back, where we sat for aperitivo each day. The apartment is in a great location - close to cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. There is paid car parking not too far away, and you can pull up in front of the apartment to unload and reload your car.

Perfect location: 3min walk to the Old town, 5 min walk to the ferry station, 2 min walk to lovely cafes with great breakfasts and coffee. At the same time - quiet street. Brilliant host - gave us plenty of useful helpful tips and recommendations. Very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotless, stylish and incredibly cozy. Felt as at home. Super bonus - little private ‘garden’ at the back and a balcony in the master bedroom.

Even though all the rooms have air conditioners would be great to have an option to open a window in the twin bedroom. This bedroom is small and has a roof window. With an aircon off there is not enough air at night.

Fabulous hostess met us on arrival - despite being very late - and gave us an informative chat about the best places to go in Faro as well as a tour of the property. On top of this, amazing facilities and a fantastic location make this a great place to stay! Wholeheartedly recommend!
