The property itself is truly beautiful, with breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that makes it feel very special. The pool being filled with sea water was a unique and refreshing touch, and the grounds would make a fantastic setting for a wedding or special event. We also really appreciated the family who own the place — they were polite, understanding, and genuinely helpful, going out of their way to move us to better accommodation when we had an issue. Their kindness made a big difference to our stay.
When we first arrived, we found some dead wasps in the bedroom and a tapping noise on the wall in the upstairs room which felt very unsettling. Service was a little slow at times, and the menu could benefit from some improvements — the food was nice, though a little overpriced for the quality, especially since there aren’t other dining options nearby. Wasps were also a noticeable issue throughout the property, so this may not suit guests who dislike bugs or cats.
