Central Skopje Duplex Apartment

We stayed there with our family of five - two adults and three teenagers. Very clean and tidy apartment spanning two floors. All necessary tableware and household appliances were available. All rooms had air conditioning, which was a very important plus in this particularly hot weather. The owner was very helpful, always available and gave several useful recommendations. The location is excellent. The city center and attractions are a couple of minutes' walk away. There are many good restaurants and grocery stores in the area. Therefore, it is also very suitable for those who use public transport (do not have a car). Since there was construction going on in the area, parking on the street was somewhat difficult. We used the nearby Tinex parking garage to park our rental car, which was safe and, as it later turned out, the cheapest in the city center. You could conveniently pay for parking there with a card. If you look at how people park on the streets in Skopje (and elsewhere), it would perhaps be wise to decide in favor of parking garages (especially for rental cars).

I didn't remember anything annoying or negative about this place to stay.

Charmante Maisonettewohnung, viel Platz im Wohnbereich, schöner Balkon in ruhigem Haus und Lage. 2 Schlafzimmern und kleines Bad im oberen Teil der Wohnung - insgesamt viele Stufen bis zur Wohnung 😉 Theo als Vermieter war bereits im Vorfeld sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit mit vielen Infos, unkomplizierte Abwicklung bei der Übergabe.

Leider nur 4 Stühle um den kleinen Esstisch in dieser großen Wohnung, waren zu fünft und haben improvisiert. Theo will sich um weitere Stühle kümmern.

Open space, very clean, hotel quality beddings and in a nice quiet building yet very close to the center. The host is wonderful and professional and has helped us with taxi transportation and full list of recommendations from places to shop to restaurants. Danke!

The surrounding area of the appartment looks a bit rough, although the locals were friendly.
