Nhat Huy Bungalow Phu Quoc

The location was pretty good, just a short walk to the road where they have shops and restaurants. Bed is very comfy and soft and room is clean enough.

Our “clean” towels were really smelly and we had to go and ask for more which did smell a lot better. Our key wouldn’t go into the slot at around 11am so we couldn’t get the ac on, lights on, hot water on or have any wifi. When I went to reception and told the owner about this he just kinda laughed in my face and told me that all the electricity was off until the evening (5/6pm) as they’re doing work over the road and that he just didn’t get round to telling us. Thought this was pretty bad as when you pay for a hotel room you pay for these amenities and while I understand the reasoning we should have been warned beforehand and possibly even refunded a bit of money for the inconvenience. The pool was going green. Didn’t realise until I was getting out and my hands/feet were green from the steps.

I got room 109 on upper floor. Dangerous climb to the upper floors rooms 108 and 109.. swimming pool color green.

Very nice pool. Clean and spacious room and bathroom. I constantly saw the cleaning staff around.

The check in desk is always empty and the gentleman that checked me in wasn't so friendly and couldn't speak English. It is a bit far away from the main road but it is walkable.

The pool was fairly clean. The location is not too far from the next public beach (although it’s also 15 min walking distance). You can rent a motorbike right there which is cool but not special for this hotel. The staff was really friendly. The hotel doesn’t cost a fortune and you have a well maintained pool within the money.

The room was pretty small, for Homeoffice it was a bad decision. The bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all for a couple of weeks. In the shower drain there was dirt, the walls were dirty, the toilet smelly. There was a pile of soil in the bathroom. The bathroom has no window that can be closed so there were also insects coming in. Another small thing was that the electricity is supposed to work once you out the key in a box on the wall. It only worked after 5 tries each time we came home and put the key in. We reported this but we were essentially told to just try again.
