Very unique, a nice combination of tradition and modern convenience. Comfortable, very well equipped, squeaky clean, very comfortable beds, very quiet at night, easy communication with host. Dog-friendly, and EV charging station was a nice plus.

Perfect for a stay in Kottenheim
We have old friends in Kottenheim which was why we stayed there. The apartment is super, very clean and new with convenient parking outside. Two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor with a very spacious kitchen and living area upstairs. Ideal for a family.stay.

Erholung pur im Basalt Loft
Das Basalt Loft liegt in dem kleinen Ort Kottenheim. Das Loft ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen und Entschleunigen. Schöne große Fenster lassen viel Sonne herein. Elektrische Dachfenster mit Jalousien, spenden bei Sonnenschein aber auch genügend Schatten. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich gut, das Haus war super sauber und mit vielen kleinen Details wurde uns ein klasse Start bereitet. Frische Blumen auf dem Tisch, eine gekühlte Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank, ein netter Spruch auf einer Tafel waren dann noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Eine tolle Küche mit allem was man braucht, inklusive scharfer Messer 😀. Jeder Lichtschalter toll beschriftet um zu wissen welche Lampe man schaltet. Einfach ein sehr schön durchdachtes Konzept. Ein Kamin mit gratis Feuerholz für die kühlere Jahreszeit steht auch bereit. Der Ort schön ruhig umgeben von wunderschöner Natur, bietet neben einem Supermarkt mit Bäcker auch eine Pizzeria. Der Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe darf keinen abschrecken. Hier fahren nur wenige kleine Züge, die bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht zu hören sind und auch bei offenen Fenstern nicht stören. Unzählige weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Mayen rund 4km entfernt. Das Loft in Kottenheim ist schön außerhalb gelegen jedoch dank der guten Anbindung erreicht man z.B Koblenz, die Reichsburg Cochem oder die Burg Eltz innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Sehr schöne Gegend um Burgen Schlösser und die Natur zu genießen. Absolute Empfehlung von uns für dieses tolle Ferienhaus und die Umgebung!
