Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable. Zoubida was an amazing host. Very welcoming and very nice. Made us the best breakfast.

Mein Aufenthalt im Riad in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Chefchauen war einfach fantastisch! Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein – mitten im Herzen der Altstadt, umgeben von charmanten Gassen und historischen Gebäuden. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Zoubida, die äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit war. Sie hat sich wirklich um alles gekümmert und dafür gesorgt, dass meine Anreise und Abreise reibungslos verliefen. Ihre Gastfreundschaft hat meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ich kann dieses Riad nur wärmstens empfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Il y a deux ou trois tapis qui datent un peu au Rez de chaussée (du coup, ils ne font pas hyper propres) mais ce n'est pas grave ! Le logement est très bien !

Big house with lots of space, despite weird host.

Beware of the man that shows you the house!! We asked Mustafa where to go eat and he insisted on taking us there instead of just telling us the name. He also offered to show us around the city but after the meal we wrote him to thank him for the recommendation and to tell him we'd rather visit the city alone. He followed us to the restaurant regardless of our message and tried to guide us to other places. When we told him again that we would rather go alone he started asking for a tip just for taking us to the restaurant (even though he seemed to be our host!). When we gave him 15MAD just for him to let us go he called it "money for children" and mumbled some insults as he walked away. This behavior was something we expected from a random guy on the street but not from our supposedly host, especially when you consider the price you already pay for the house. On the other hand, the lady that showed us the house was very sweet even though she didn't speak English. I feel sorry to leave a bad review on the personnel because of her, but the experience with Mustafa was very shady and unpleasant.
