Host was clearly telling us everything we needed, they informed us there will be 97 steps but it’s not non-stop steps there are a bit of walking which makes it easier. The place is really close to everywhere which makes it the best place to stay in Amalfi.

It was great to have a clothes washer and access to kitchen and fridge. The price was also great.
There were lots of stairs but all of the Amalfi coast is set with stairs and that's part of the local charm

The host was very friendly. Room is fine but not much amenities. The basics. No coffee or kettle or any of that. Its like a room in a dorm the walls were thin and you could hear everything in the corridor or the next room. No place to dry our clothes after swimming
