The View at Glenloch - Home Stay

This property is truely amazing, all about the view, along with the host Prosper and his lovely assistant. From the moment I arrived it was warm and welcoming, the connection was immediate non stop sharing conversations, joining him for a light meal and more tea. Spacious room with white sheets and fluffy white towel with ensuite. Small fan and big window allowing light. Use of the washing machine was a bonus hung out and dry by morning. Breakfast was a treat having eggs on toast and several coffees. Prosper organised tuk tuk and came with me to the atm and waited while I caught a bus, delightful gentleman who has many stories and words of wisdom.

Couldn’t find the property, there was no real signage from the road or on property. Google maps couldn’t pick up location either.

Views. Good hot shower. Comfy bed. Laundry for a small fee. Quiet surroundings.

It's a bit out of town, so (limited choice of) dinner had to be ordered in by tuk-tuk (800r delivery). Aircon not working. Stayed in budget bedroom by lounge, so could hear Prosper talking on phone late at night.

I stayed with Prosper at The View at Glenloch after stage 3 of the Pekoe Trail. It’s right on trail a little before the end of the stage. Prosper is such a wonderful host, his place is clean with a beautiful view, and the room is comfortable. I would highly recommend staying— Prosper is great to talk with as he is kind, wise, and a fellow traveler/hiker. I only stayed one night but I left with a new friend.

This accomodation is right on the Pekoe Trail. Prosper is a lovely host. The accommodation has amazing views of the valley and mountains and it's very clean. It's a walk to get dinner or Prosper can arrange for delivery.
