I got a room on the third floor- 60 steps up although I chose not to use the lift which would have bypassed 42 of them.

Upon arrival my friends and I were met with a genuine welcome and were immediately made fee like guests not customers. The two staff members at the bar / reception couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great stay in the hotel and in Ax les Thermes - Top marks all round. We booked a 4 bed room which was quite large and clinically clean with a nice en suite bathroom. The follow morning we were treated to a really good continental breakfast. I'd definitely stay there again!

Location is good, very close to the center. A very nice host showing sincere interest. Good beds.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just a 2 minute walk into town, with restaurants and shops, and the thermal baths.
Breakfast was adequate, you get what you pay for!
The room was very basic and tired. We had problems with the shower attachment
