17 The Green Holiday Apartment

Location has positives and negatives. Everything is within walking distance including the beach. Co-op is right opposite the appointment.

1. Usually, we can sleep through anything, and we expected some traffic noise as per reviews from previous guests, but the noise from the apartment above was that crazy we ended up sleeping with earplugs. The host with their 2 large dogs live upstairs and they quite literally stomp around the apartment every evening till like midnight or 1am then they start jumping and running around again at around 6am. It was an everyday thing. 2. The apartment is right opposite the Co-op shop, and with the Co-op being the only shop around this area it draws extra traffic and so increasing the traffic noise. 3. No mop, bucket and hoover for cleaning the floor and the carpet. We were offered a steam cleaner by the host though. 4. Parking wasn't available at the property, so the description is a little misleading, but you can park away from the apartment at the public carpark at extra cost. Double yellow line in front of the apartment, and even warned by the host not to leave car there for too long as we may get a fined.

Fabulous location. Easy walk into town and a lovely local pub. Right opposite a mini supermarket and parking easy too. Beds were comfy and all necessary facilities available. Hosts messaged for us to leave later on check out. This is a little gem and very good value for money.

Could do with a little spruce up in the bathroom. Rust on bath and towel rails. Was very clean though.

The owners were friendly and the location was ideal.Very clean and having the Co op across the road was a bonus too.

Quite a handy location with co-op opposite, and we were lucky to get a free parking space on the road outside. Apartment was roomy.

Quite a few niggles. Seemed down at heel and grubby. Very strong smell of damp. Esp on towels and bedding. Various things were broken - eg: roller blind, bathroom taps, tumble dryer, shelves in fridge, missing lightbulbs. There were no bits and bobs like shower gel. It felt unwelcoming with a big no smoking sign by the TV and a note on the back door that is was private, escape route only when it just led to a path to the front of the house.
