Lonely Beach

We stayed for a week and during a storm too but the beach and accommodation didn’t disappoint. The host was so lovely and did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. The rooms are nice with a traditional Khmer style shower which was really refreshing and mosquito nets provided around the bed. The food was amazing I really enjoyed the Lok Lak! The beach is really clean and I noticed the staff out picking up any rubbish that the sea may have washed up too. We saw the plankton too which the host danny gave us all the tips we needed on time to go to get the best view. Would definitely recommend to stay here

Be aware that there aren’t really any shops nearby so bring any necessities you may need for your stay. There is a short walk from the car park to the accommodation if taking a tuk tuk around 13mins but this was no problem and mostly flat. There are a lot of mosquitoes so if you get bitten make sure you bring lots of spray for that. There was nothing to not like about the property though it really was a beautiful and special place!

The beach is fantastic, the calm and quiet is unrivaled.

Sometimes a little noisy at night but nothing compared to other beaches.

I don‘t know where to start…It’s hard to put into words what this place is and does. I stayed here in April and am still thinking about the magic of this place and its people everyday! I would have just loved to stay and support making this place a long-term success. If you want comfort, like a hot shower, Wifi, more equipment, then maybe this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a great vibe, lovely people, yummy food, some quiet in nature (it‘s the most amazing beach ever! Nothing at Kho Rong can compare with that!) and just going back to the roots and things that matter most, then this is your place! Also, extra plus, the dogs!! You‘ll always be surrounded by at least a few of them! Love it! And the food also is delicious! Really no need to leave this little oasis at all! Find your favourite hammock, look at the sunset, have some food, cuddle the dogs, get into good conversation with the people - and you‘ll just have the best time ever! Dani is just such a warm-hearted person and the volunteers and team supporting him are all great people. Wishing you all the best!! It’s exclusive, very close to nature.

Nothing much, they just need to add more toiletries specially in the bathroom to cater the guests needs, and also a good mosquito repellent or something, they’re so big.
