I absolutely recommend the apartment. This apartment is awesome!

Dario is a really good and friendly person. He invited us very kindly. The apartment is awesome! The views from windows are unbelievable. All of rooms are spacious and comfortable, kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils. There are not enough points to rate the apartments. It’s 100/10

It was too short because the apartment and the region are fabulous!

We liked many things about Dario's marvellous apartment: - We are a big family (four kids, plus the grandparents travelled with us, so a total of 8), and the apart is really very spacious. - The location of the apartment is absolutely breathtaking, right on the waterfront at lake Iseo with a beautiful view of the lake from most of the rooms including the master bedroom and the dining room. - Even though the building is located on one of Castro's main thoroughfares, it was absolutely quiet and there was no traffic noise worth mentioning - Dario and his wife were very forthcoming hosts and made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. - The region is absolutely marvellous - the lake is beautiful, the mountains around it are rugged and wild, the towns on the lake are very pretty and you can even visit larger cities such as Bergamo or Brescia with a one hour drive. - No overtourism. Those who have travelled other parts of Italy such as Tuscany of Lago di Garda know that it can get very crowded at times. Not so much at Lago d'Iseo as it is located somewhat off the beaten path and the only tourists we met were Italians who came to the lake on the weekend, probably from Brescia and Bergamo. During the week it was very quiet (might be a bit more busy during high season, but most likely it will be nowhere near the more famous holiday regions).

Since we arrived early in the year weather was a bit of a mixed bag, so I'd suggest to wait for April or May before you travel because when you have a cold spring like we did, you might find it's not yet comfy enough to sit on the terrace of a cafe enjoying your coffee or Aperol Sprizz. This of course is hardly Dario's fault and it is worth mentioning that we were able to make good use of our time despite the unpleasant weather. I guess we are going to come back to lake Iseo and next time we will make sure to travel when the sun is up :-) The only thing we did not like as much about the apartment was that there was no dishwasher, so doing the dishes of our gang of a family was a bit annoying.

Casa paradise is a wonderful place with a wonderful lake view, Dario is very cind and accessible host.

We didn't like the fact that he took extra money for the sheets and towels.

Superb

The keys were personally handed by the owner together with good explanation. There was also a garage that could be used and this was very interesting because of limited availability of parking places in the neighbourhood. It is a large appartment with multiple rooms and all the required facilities (well equiped kitchen and even a washing machine (if this would be needed)). It is a bit older (bathroom is more recent) but it is clean and well maintained. It has a nice view on the lake and is in a small village but there is a very nice restaurant very close by with very good pizza's and pasta's.

Amazing view and very nice location. Extremely helpful host. Dario helped us with all our questions, he even organised for us boat trip (highly recommended) and found good winery for wine tasting . Flat has everything that you need , we stayed as a group of friends and had a great time. 👌🏻☀️🌊🥰

Comfortable flat with a stunning view

It was an excellent stay, we wish we could have stayed longer! Dario is a great host: friendly, attentive, thoughtful and he has a great sense of humour! The flat is spacious and comfortable, and the long balcony is priceless: the view is stunning and truly remarkable!

Rooms with great view

We loved our hosts. Unfortunately we could not meet the owner, but we had great contact and he made sure we were warmly welcomed. The view to wake up to in the morning is breathtaking!

Only minus was that it was getting a little cold in the house, but this was probably just because when we came the colder season had started.

Einzigartig, Fantastisch!

Kennt ihr das, dass die Bilder immer schöner sind, als das Reiseziel selbst? - Hier war es zu unserem Erstaunen genau das Gegenteil! Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, einladend und hilfsbereit. Schon vor Reiseantritt war der Kontakt (auf Englisch) sehr angenehm. Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und es wurde alles mit einer eigens zusammengestellten Infomappe erklärt. Während des Aufenthalts hielt sich der Gastgeber dezent im Hintergrund und war immer, falls nötig, zu erreichen. - Einfach Top! In der Unterkunft selbst (außer zum selber kochen) gab es kein Frühstück - Was aber kein Problem war, denn kurz über die Straße vor der Unterkunft gab es ein sehr gutes Cafe mit angenehmen Preisen zum Frühstücken a la Cart am Seeufer. Ein sehr gutes Restaurant zum Abendessen befindet sich ebenfalls daneben. (Definitiv besser als jeder All-In Aufenthalt!) Die Straße vor der Wohnung ist nur leicht befahren und keine typische Durchfahrtsstraße. In der Nacht war gefühlt gar kein Verkehr. Der See ist kein typischer Urlaubsort für einen Badeurlaub. Es gibt zwar zig Stellen an denen man in den See kann, diese sind aber alle ziemlich steinig und ohne Badeaufsicht. Dafür sind die Preise überall angenehm, die Einheimischen freundlich und stressbefreit und die Kulisse einzigartig. Die ganze Gegend lädt zum erkunden und genießen ein. Die Wohnung mit dem unvergesslich traumhaften Ausblick direkt am Seeufer ist einfach nur ein Traum!

Die Anfahrt von Deutschland/Schweiz kann ziemlich abenteuerlich werden. Das Navi schickt einen über 100km über diverse Passstraßen (2m breit mit Fahrrad-, Fußgänger- und Gegenverkehr). Wenn man die Route über Mailand wählt ist die Fahrt jedoch angenehm (kostet jedoch ca. 10€ Maut extra) und man ist auch schneller am Ziel.

Soggiorno in relax con vista esclusiva

Pulizia, spazi ampi con diverse camere da letto, vista magnifica. Dario una persona squisita e disponibilissima ma anche la sua famiglia! Abbiamo passato un soggiorno meraviglioso e ci torneremo sicuramente !!

Se proprio dobbiamo cercare qualcosa che nn va il rumore dalla strada di notte e un po’ di difficoltà a regolare l’acqua calda e fredda nella doccia.

Underbar utsikt, extremt välstädat och bra organiserat. Trevlig värd, mysig by Castro med mycket vänliga invånare och utmärkt restaurang Vulcano.

Dåligt med allmänna transporter som båt och buss nära boendet om man reser utanför helg och sommar. Hyrbil rekommenderas.
