There is a large deck facing the lakefront, a large front porch, and a fenced back yard. Our home is a charming, cozy and immaculate vacation home that will accommodate up to six people.

​Located in Vermilion, Ohio, our home is located in the historical lakefront neighborhood of Vermilion on the Lake. Down the street from our home is a large neighborhood playground and park (SHOWSE PARK) for the kids, with a neighborhood beach, basket ball court, tennis court, a soccer field and a kayak launch. A local YMCA is within walking distance for your early morning workouts.

​So spend a day at Cedar Point and then head off to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and visit the many sites of Cleveland (USS Mather, the USS Cod submarine, the many nightclubs in the Flats by the Cuyahoga River, the Science Museum, or catch an Indians game). The next day just sit on the deck or porch with a book, go to the neighborhood beach, or take a trip into downtown Vermilion. And always - just hang around and watch the sun set. The combinations and possibilities are endless.

This enchanting little town has always been a seaside community with a New England style atmosphere. This is the kind of town that still has a working soda fountain, a town square and summer concerts on the green. People here actually sit on their front porches on a summer evening. ****A couple of disclosures – remember - this is a house abutting Lake Erie. It has a ten foot drop off. While a waterfront, there is no direct beach or water access. There is a beach down the street at Shows Park but it may be impacted by high water levels. Never fear - Vermilion maintains lots of other wonderful close by beaches.
