The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. There was a garden to sit in. There is a very large shared-space sitting room and kitchen. The bathroom was very nice.

The Jasmim Doce is a unique and special place in a peaceful setting. The house is in a quiet residential area and about 30 minutes walk downhill into central Cascais. Its not a difficult walk back either, but obvioulsy slightly uphill.
I was made very welcome and I felt looked after during my stay.
My room was a good size, with a large shower room, sunny balcony, blackout blinds and air conditioning as well as a TV. Luxury. There was a communal lounge and well equipped kitchen too.
It offers a very good price to quality ratio. Don't expect corporate fixtures and fittings and decor, it is someones home and it feels like it.
Parking outside was easy and free

A magical place, as if taken from a movie. Hard to explain, need to be there to understand.
Things that can be improved for our next visit... :-):
- For elders, a handle to hold in the shower was missing
- A shady location for sitting by the pool
