Would have maybe been nice to have air-conditioning in the room

I LOVED arriving from a long trip and there was coffee/tea I could make and in the free fridge area there was milk for the perfect cup! Staff very helpful and friendly!! Nice kitchen, indoor and outdoor sitting area. Also fresh bread everyday delivered on doorknob of hostel!

The top floor female room was warm. Air fans helped but wouldn’t stay in that room again on a hot summer day. The room itself very comfy and beautiful views!

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The location is wonderful, set in a beautiful area surrounded by blooming nature and charming traditional Portuguese houses. Inside, everything feels very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The space is beautifully arranged with great attention to detail. I stayed in a room for five people but had it all to myself, which was amazing. The view is lovely, the bed is comfortable, everything is clean, and fresh towels are provided. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and there is even food available - you can make your own breakfast, and there is tea, coffee, fruit, and bread. There is also a beautiful garden where you can eat, work, or just relax — a perfect chill area.

1. The attention - When I checked out, I accidentally forgot my sun umbrella in the room. I sent a message short after to ask them to keep it for me as I would come get it the next day. 1st no one answered. I insisted and they said ok, that they would leave it at the entrance with the courtesy sun umbrellas available for guests, so I asked them not to leave it there, to keep it apart so it wasnt taken by anyone. They ignored my messages and when I arrived (from Lisbon!!) effectively, the umbrella was taken by other guests. I had to take a used, older one with no case and when I asked the girl for the refund, she refused tl give it to me and said that they were not responsible. That very girl didnt bother to help me with any of my luggage at my arrival, she just stayed standing looking at me struggling with my bags and didnt seem happy or eager to show me around, the welcoming wasnt warm at all, and the farewell... much less! Not coming back 2. The shower- I barely fitted and Im small! a bigger person wouldnt fit in it, also the door didnt close properly and the floor got all wet
