I had 2 early starts and breakfast was brought to me in advance to accommodate this. Excellent attention to details - fridge with complementary water and beer, homemade biscuits and eco friendly toiletries Salt water swimming pool

I liked everything, but I could imagine others would complain that the room didn't have 2 bedside tables, but only if you are picky.

The location is incredible. Right outside the premise, you have a Miradouro towards the Ilheu. There's more than enough parking space. Host and staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and a lot, including some customization options and variations. The lodge itself was nice and had enough space for one person. Price-Value ratio was really good (mid season). House keeping could be requested free of charge at any time.

The Lodges look better from the outside than from the inside. The custom furniture (painted OBS) is very "unique" (not my style) and a bit dated already. The kitchen utensils were very old, basic and used a lot of times already. Non stick pan looked completely broken. The bed was on the small side if I was travelling with a second person. Generally, the lodge would be quite small for two people with little space to put suitcases. Bed sheets were rather basic and the blanket wasn't fully covered but only partially by one sheet. I hope the blanket itself gets cleaned after every guest. The room gets cold and hot really quickly and it was incredibly humid inside. AC didn't help much against the humidity. I guess that's a general Azores problem but I've had less humidity in other housings.

We enjoyed the location, privacy, and access to the walking path along the coast. Breakfast was delicious, and the welcoming cookies and beer were a treat!

We had some difficulty with the initial checking, partly because of my inexperience with using WhatsApp.

The location is directly on the sea which is great and you can walk from there next to the sea to the village nearby ☀️ everything you need is there including a nice pool. The breakfast is delivered every morning to your front door in a very sweet basket - very lovely ☺️

To be honest - the coffee could be better 😅
