About this resort
There is a lovely walkway along the beach there. The beach is narrow, but sandy, with a rocky ledge for tidepools. We have snorkeled right off the beach, which is protected from the waves by an outer reef. You can walk to the Lava Lava Beach Club and sit with your feet in the sand for breakfast or other meals. The other hotels along the walkway also have bars and restaurants. The Coconut Marketplace is right next door for shopping. It is a 10 minute walk to Lae Nani Beach, where there is a protected pool that is great for children.
2 bedroom condos and studios are also available. The resort will require a credit card on check-in (and will place a $250 deposit on it) and will charge a daily Hawaii occupancy tax (usually less than $25 daily for the room).
