As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Davit and his wife. They gave us a fruit basket and try to make the most for their guests. It's a friendly place for families. The apartment was clean and new. The wifi worked well. The cable TV was great. The apartment is very close to the beach and restaurants. We liked the location.

At the time that we booked the apartment, it said some kitchenware was provided, but to our surprise, there was barely anything in the kitchen - maybe a few cups, some spoons and forks. Davit was kind to get us a pot, a pan, some butter knifes, a broom, a mop and a hairdryer when requested- but we were told that usually, no kitchenware is provided. I did not know that I had to travel with my kitchenware! In addition, we didn't like the bathroom. This was an open shower (see picture attached), so when you take your shower, you get water on everything in the bathroom (toilet, toilet paper, walls, etc). The worst is that water doesn't dry out, so we had a wet bathroom for our whole stay. Even my 4 year old was disgusted to go to the toilet- we had to wear our crocs to walk on the bathroom floor every time when we needed to go in. The mop provided didn't completely dried out the floor. Another thing that bothered us was that the bed mattresses were covered only a simple bed sheet, so it meant after a night sleep, you woke up to find yourselves directly on the mattress (see picture attached). From a hygienic point of view, we thought this was not acceptable. Davit didn't see a problem when we raised our concerns- he said that the mattresses were regularly cleaned. We have traveled a lot in Georgia and stayed in a lot of places, but never had that experience before. Finally, you will find a washing machine on the site that you can use, but no dryer. If you get nice warm weather during your stay, you can hang your clothing on the clothes line provided in the back of the building. However while we were there, it was rainy and wet, so our bathroom towels never dried, so we had an endless wet bathroom and wet towels. It was an unpleasant experience. We originally planned to stay there 5 nights, but left after 3.

We got a free upgrade to a slightly bigger apartment with two bedrooms instead of one. Very clean, separate hot water boiler in the bathroom so there is always hot water. Electrical installation is safe. Big refrigerator and a quiet and effective airconditioning in the big room. Very friendly staff, who was always cleaning when there was nothing else to do.

Toilet did not flush half of the time. This was inconvenient as we had to use it a lot. Although it is an apartment there are not enough kitchen utensils to make e.g. a nice breakfast by yourself, let alone a hot meal.
