Antico Borgo

We were met by the very friendly owner, who gave us useful information about Castiglione di Sicilia. Some weeks before our arrival, the bus company's website indicated that there would not be a bus leaving from Castiglione to our next destination on the Saturday morning of our departure. The owner offered to take us to the next town, Francavilla, from where a bus would depart that day. During our stay the bus schedules were updated on the website (the summer schedule came into effect on the day of our departure), so we could get a bus from Castiglione. Nevertheless, the owner's offer to take us to Francavilla was very much appreciated, and is an indication of his kindness and willingness to be helpful. Thanks very much!! The apartment is comfortable and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. Bottled water, fruit juice, milk, coffee, sugar and various biscuits and sweet treats were supplied. The view of Mt Etna from the bedroom window is breathtaking - I share 2 photos taken from the window.

The small town is beautiful! The location of the apartment is very good.

There was just one room, and the kitchen was the other. The olace is litle bit small for 4 person..

The property is an independent house, which is located just off the town centre and has ample on-street parking in close proximity. The house is clean and well equipped and very comfortable. We were met by the host on our arrival, who showed us around and explained all that we needed to know. The view of Etna from the bedroom window is spectacular!

Unfortunately the wifi did not work.

Ottima posizione centrale nel paese. Bella la vista sull'Etna.

Purtroppo l'alloggio è distribuito su due piani serviti da una scala abbastanza ripida. Oltre alla scala che porta all'appartamento dal piano strada.
