Quiet stay next to a beautiful environment

The environment of the Lake Park camping is stunning. The roulotte was fully equipped with the comfortable bedrooms, a fully functional bathroom. The manager of the accommodation was superb and very nice .

The stay went very well and there was nothing to complain about the accommodation.

Hidden cost -Do not recommend

The location is nice, close to a lake and a short car ride to Ghent, Antwerp, Brugges and Bruxeles.. The house is nice and cute, good for a short stay.

We were asked for a 250 euro cash deposit on arrival. A week before the stay we received a message from the property that we would have to pay 60 euros for cleaning. This fee was not initially mentioned on the booking website and before we left the host took the money (50 euro only) from the cash deoisit. We never got an invoice/ receipt for this money. This was a hidden cost which was very unfair as we left the chalet clean and tidy. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Superb

We had an awesome stay, very clean mobile home with everything we needed. It's really close to the Noordsee, in a small village with all the basic infrastructure. The reception was great, although the lady was not comfortable in English it was enough to understand all the basics, and she was very kind. You must come with a car, because it's not close to the main cities. Heating, shower, oven...everything was working fine, so I can say it's still convenient if the during winter. Supermarkets are close, as well as the access to the main roads to Gand, Brussels and Brugges.

It was not completely clear that you need to make a deposit in cash at arrival (250EUR), but there was a cash machine not very far away. Same about the electricity, that comes on the top of the room rate. I had to come back to booking.com website, and it was all stated there - but still I think this should be clearer. It's not a big deal, I would book again if I come back to this area in the future.

On the site is not specified that we have to pay 50EUR/pers at the beginning of our stay...like an insurance that will be returned if everything is ok when we do the check-out Also, something that I never experienced, we have to pay for electricity that we use during our stay

Lovely chalet, would stay here again

Our host could not have been nicer, she was very friendly and helpful. The chalet is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Good location, within easy walking distance of local pubs and restaurants.

Operating the microwave was a little tricky due to its location on top of the fridge/freezer. The holiday park did not really have any additional facilities (although with its proximity to the town this wasn't really a problem).

Good value for your family.

Home fit our family better then expected, list said two futons, and a double bed, but we had 4 single beds (two in each room) and a queen size bed in the third bedoom. Having a kitchen was helpfull and saved us a lot of money. House was clean.

Helaas was er de laatste avond /nacht een feest met zeer harde muziek dat tot half 4 ‘s nachts doorging. Wij hebben hierdoor zeer slecht tot niet geslapen

Zeer goede ervaring

Een zeer goede ontvangst met alle nodige uitleg. Heb je een vraag? Ze wordt beantwoord. Heb je een verzoek? Er wordt aan voldaan. (In de mate van het mogelijke.) Carina is een super vriendelijke gastvrouw. De stacaravan was in zeer goede en zeer propere staat. Zeer goed en proper bedlinnen. Geen versleten flarden zoals men soms al eens tegen komt in sommige hotels. Idem voor de handdoeken, prima kwaliteit. Een zeer mooie en rustige omgeving. Er zijn mooie wandelingen te maken rond het meer. Een echt natuurgebied. Er is een zeer goed wassalon dat wel buiten de camping gelegen is maar gemakkelijk bereikbaar. En in de buurt is een fantastische bakker met aan de overkant een goed frituur.😄

Ottimo soggiorno in un posto incantevole

La struttura è pulita. Gli chalet erano in un posto fantastico vicino ad un lago. E' stato un soggiorno diverso ma molto confortevole e molto gradito a tutti gli ospiti. Siamo stati accolti dal personale molto gentile e che si è curato anche di farci fare il check out fuori orario. La cosa importante è chiederlo al momento della prenotazione ed avere conferma scritta al fine di evitare disguidi. Nulla da dire il soggiorno è stato fantastico.

Großartiger steßfreier und naturnaher Ort für Flandern-Erkunder/innen

Die "Chalets" sind transportable Feriehäuser mit gutem Konfort. Gute Duschen Toiletten, Kühl-Gefrierkombi, Gasherd (4 Flammen), Mikrowelle, geräumiges Wohnzimmer. Hervorragende Lage, um mit Auto und Bahn Flandern zu erkunden. Sehr ruhig im Park. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß. Freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Großartiges WLAN. Schöne Natur und hervorragend dokumentierte und ausgeschilderte Wanderungen für die Tage, die wir nicht für Stadtbesichtigungen nutzen wollten. Beeindruckende Naturreservate, die einen enormen Aufwand an Professionaliät und Liebe der Gestalter/innen erkennen lassen.

Die Betten waren für nicht gant schlanke Menschen etwas schmal. Gerade weil die Internetversorgung so excellent ist, hätten wir uns eine Moglichkeit (gern auch gegen Gebühr) deutsches Tv zu empfangen, gewünscht.

Een oase van rust in de natuur

Ons verblijf hier was werkelijk fantastisch. De locatie is perfect voor natuurliefhebbers: pal naast een nationaal park, omgeven door prachtige natuur en absolute rust. Het is uniek om hier tot wel 60 km te kunnen fietsen zonder een auto tegen te komen – een zeldzame ervaring die we ten volle hebben genoten. Voor wandelaars is er een rijke keuze aan paden, met afwisselende landschappen en adembenemende uitzichten. Het verblijf zelf biedt meer dan voldoende comfort, met als extra troeven een gezellig privétuintje en een gratis parkeerplaats vlakbij. Een aanrader voor wie even helemaal wil ontsnappen aan de drukte en op zoek is naar pure natuur en ontspanning!
