Location, friendly and attentive staff - who were able to organise the Bromo trip to our satisfaction. Breakfast selection is good too. Staff were able to accommodate our request for vegetarian food options.
Our room had a balcony with a nice view. Gardens are well maintained. Property also has a cafe in addition to the restaurant.
We had a double-room with loft - which unfortunately left a lot be desired when it comes to cleanliness. There were cobwebs everywhere and the windows looked like they had never been cleaned. Also the loft room had no curtains or blinds so it was impossible to sleep when you need it the most - after the 2am Bromo trip. Even our room downstairs could do with more curtains/blinds.

Location was good
Staff were lovely
Food was nice
Room was tiny, very damp and expensive for what it was. The bed was damp and the towels smelt musty. We also had cockroaches (found a dead one on our floor in the morning). There was also a loud wedding by our room. It finished at 10pm but not ideal when you have to get up at 2:30am!
