The apartment was clean. There were enough towels for all 3 of us. The location is amazing between La Rambla and the shopping street. Everything is a walking distance from the apartment.

The only downside is the fact that there is a tight stairs to get to the elevator which can be challenging if you have big suitcases; you'll have to carry them to the elevator.

The location was great! Centrally located to a lot and very close to La Rambla. Not noisy at night like the other reviews mention.

Unfortunately, during the day there is construction going on in the building right across the way and is VERY noisy. The worse part is the smell to exhaust that creeps into the apartment building all day! There is NO WAY to avoid it. The exhaust is from the machinery and/or generators being used for the construction. It really affected our breathing and made it impossible to sit on the balcony. There were times we just left the apartment so that we wouldn’t have to breathe in the exhaust. It was really bad and made us sick. The apartment itself was great but the construction across the street made it very uncomfortable. Also, we arrived a few hours early before check-in and the person I spoke to with the company would not allow us to check into the apartment early. It did not appear that it was being cleaned or occupied so it made no sense why they made us sit outside the apartment with al of our luggage in the rain when they could’ve allowed us to at least sit inside the building.

We arrived in Barcelona in the morning and requested an early check in. I understand this is subject to availability but the staff at the check in desk told us we were a priority. When it finally reached 3pm, we arrived at our apartment to find a housekeeper still in there who asked us to give her another 20 minutes. After a whole morning of travelling, we were quite upset that our apartment wasn’t even ready at check in time. Once we were in, we noticed that the floor wasn’t clean. My partner wore his white socks around the apartment for 10 minutes and it turned his socks black. There is only air conditioning in the living room, all we had was a tower fan in our bedroom which made a lot of noise. We had a coffee machine with no pods, a washing machine with no detergent, salt and pepper shakers with no salt and pepper, the fridge was extremely loud as well. Not to mention, we were not told about the construction going on outside our apartment after specifically paying extra to have a balcony.
