Mountain View Guest House

This hotel is in a very nice location. It is right opposite Khao Ok Thalu, the landmark of the city, where you can explore and enjoy beautiful views. It's only a 10-minute walk/drive to the train station and the night market. They also have a swimming pool and bike rentals. The owner is very kind, and the place is spotlessly clean.

Great location, clean rooms, motorbike for rent, friendly hosts... what more could you ask for? I would recommend Mountain View to anyone looking to visit Phatthalung.

The room was OK and what we expected for the price.

In the middle of the night, between 2am and 5am, there was a lady in the room next door who was having a very loud argument on the phone with someone. And the walls are not soundproof, but even if they were we still would have heard her because she was so loud. Eventually we called the lady who ran the place, but she was very indignant at being woken in the middle of the night. She was more concerned with herself than her guests. We asked her to knock on the lady's door to ask her to shuttle up and be quiet, but she refused. She just wasn't interested in helping her guests. She liked taking our money, but if you need anything after that, forget it. Very disappointing, and we left feeling tired. We advise caution, and we won't stay there again.
