Somerset Damansara Uptown Petaling Jaya

Loved the many storage options in the room, and the thoughtful supply of a laundry basket. The studio size was perfect for a couple. Location superb and very convenient with food easily available at any time of the day, and supermarket/grocery shops conveniently accessible. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Details such as cleanliness in the shower were overlooked. The tile grout in the shower and between corners on the wet floor were unsatisfactory –– dirt (black bits) visible to the eye. The shower floor was also quite slippery which made me think it was not thoroughly cleaned. The room also smelt of mould upon entering. Air condition duct appeared unclean with dirt. For a prestigious establishment such as Somerset I expected better attention paid to its level of cleanliness. Surprised and disappointed that we had to pay above market rate to use the laundry.

I have been a frequent guest at this serviced apartment. I like the location, and it is very convenient. The staff are mostly friendly and efficient. However, some of the apartment’s appliances, such as the washing machine, were not working. I urgently needed to wash and dry my clothes, but unfortunately, the machine in my room was out of order. I called maintenance to fix it, but they were unable to. The staff were kind enough to help me move to another room late at night to resolve the problem. Good service overall.

Nothing much— just keep the appliances well maintained and the room and shower floor clean.

Location is good. Linked to Starling Mall. One bedroom unit is spacious and clean

Lobby area smells stale, otherwise all good.

Staff were friendly and helpful

Cleanliness was very poor and below expectations. Improvement is strongly needed.
