Peu de chose en réalité, mais un sapin de noël aurait égayé et personnalisé l'appartement sur ce mois de décembre

The apartment was great. The whole apartment was super clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedroom upstairs was spacious. Wi-fi was good, we didn't have any problem. The property is located at the center of the village. There's a small shop/bakery nearby so you can buy something for breakfast in the morning. The owners are very nice and also wine makers (like lots of the neighbours) so you can buy a nice bottle (besides the welcome bottle). My French is not that good, fortunately, they were able to communicate also in English and German. The location within the region is awesome. Besides a ton of wineries there are picturesque cities like Eguisheim or Riquewihr and some castles and ruins nearby.

While the bed was ok for me, the mattress was too hard for my wife who had a backache from it. The children bed was squeaking a bit we heard every move over the baby monitor (nevertheless our daughter loved the bed). We visited during hot summer, so we kept the bedroom windows open during the night. It turned out that the village center is a little bit noisy in the mornings when people go to the bakery, water city plants or the bus comes. It's the kind of a sudden intrusive noise interrupting a peaceful silence. It's hard to sleep in with open windows.
