This spacious family home features 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, recently remodeled full kitchen, fireplace, and a generous balcony with expansive Lake Michigan views. The large master suite features its own gas fireplace, full bath, vaulted ceilings with skylights, and a private deck with panoramic views over Little Traverse Bay.
Amenities also include gas grill, wrap-around balcony and porch with outdoor seating, wi-fi, Netflix, washer and dryer.
Beautifully updated kitchen includes all dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker (Keurig & drip), toaster, blender.
This cottage has been inspected and is licensed as a vacation rental with the City of Petoskey. Parking is only available on the left side of the driveway. There is an apartment above the detached garage, and the tenant parks on the right side.

What an amazing vacation home! The location is perfect and the house was fully stocked with whatever we needed! The beds were comfortable and we loved the huge porch! Petoskey is a lovely little town, and we were so happy with our stay! We will definitely plan on returning to this beautiful home again!

Our stay started out nice with a welcome gift (local wine, chips and chocolates). There was a temporary fridge setup as the main was out of order. The coffee maker was broken, which we found out in the morning when we went to use and Mike brought by a replacement later that afternoon.
We did enjoy our time on the patio and the close walk to the beach.
However, a few areas would benefit from some improvements, especially considering the price paid for our stay ($650 per night plus fees and an additional pet fee).
One thing that caught me off guard was another individual living on the property. As there was no prior mention of this in the property description.
Additionally, the absence of proper blinds in the rooms was a concern, and the sheer white curtains in the king room didn't provide the privacy and comfort we were hoping for, especially given the bedroom windows' exposure to the other residence and the street.
There were also basic maintenance issues… The missing end cap on the toilet paper holder in the Jack and Jill bath was a bit inconvenient, and the shower curtain was visibly soiled and in need of replacement. Additionally, there were some cleanliness issues, particularly with visible mold in the 2 showers and an unclean stovetop.
Given the price paid, I was surprised to find these basic cleanliness and maintenance issues. I brought these concerns to Mike and was offered nothing in return. Next time I take my parents on a getaway I’ll book a nice hotel.
