Highlights: great views of whales, responsive managment, clean!Considerations: walk-up 2 stories, some road noise (ok with earplugs)The grounds were well maintained and the interior was nicely remodeled. The views across to Lanai and Molokai were excellent. Since it was Humpback whale season, the highlight was watching them from the balcony. As others noted, turtles are often feeding around the rocky reef just offshore and really fun to watch.The condo was quite clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, with an induction cooktop, oven, pans, tools. I especially want to compliment the responsiveness of the management company when I asked them about a worn-out non-stick pan and faulty toaster. They were pleasant and had replacements to me within a few hours!The design of the unit includes louvers that open on both east and west, so you can get wonderful breeze through the unit. (This also lets in some dust, but there are brooms and dustpans and the smooth tile floor is very easy to keep clean.) Even with it open all day, the A/C was strong enough to get it cool for pleasant sleep. Beds were comfortable.Other practicalities: - Laundry is on the property (not in unit), clean, and can be paid for with an app.- The pool is small but clean and pleasant.- The unit is a 3rd floor walkup, king brm upstairs.- Parking was easy.- Shopping is nearby. Instacart can delivery within an hour.- Some road noise at night, esp lower bedroom (twins).

The condo was super clean and had everything we were looking for. The view of the ocean was awesome and the pool was great. We would highly recommend this Vrbo to anyone. Loved it.

First, let's cut to the chase and just say that the property staff was very nice and all the people we interacted with were friendly. Also, this property has a truly AWESOME view right on the water and you can enjoy morning coffee or afternoon wine with the whales and turtles, as you are right on top of the water. It has close proximity to conveniences and North Maui beaches, which are brilliant. The evening blowing of the conch shells was really corny, but also cute and fun. If this is all you care about for your stay then this place is great. You could do a lot worse!
The condo itself was clean, but I don't think the recent renovation is a success. The main floor shower didn't work, which was a big inconvenience but all we got was a tepid "apology" from management. The main floor bedroom was LOUD (local roosters and street traffic). The kitchen was poorly appointed (e.g. very incomplete silverware set, a very old/cheap, and profoundly dull set of kitchen knives, etc, etc). The lanai shades that protect from afternoon sun were broken. In short, this property needs a few minor repairs and some updated kitchen equipment, but I honestly don't think the owners care. It's understandable that some things break from time to time, but when so many little things that are so easy to resolve don't get taken care of, that feels almost insulting. We didn't hate this property, but it definitely wasn't our favorite.
