Lovely lodge and amazing host

Our host Peter was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive. If only we can give 11 out of 10 stars. The cottage was simple but provided full comfort and relaxation. The neighborhood felt safe. The facilities and amenities were adequate. It definitely felt like a home away from home.

A calm, comfortable, well equipped place to stay, conveniently situated with a welcoming host.

the location was great with many places of interest nearby, but the lodges themselves are in a quiet setting with sheep, chickens and ducks all around as well as canals. The lodge itself is welcoming, comfortable and well equipped. Our host was also extremely welcoming

The only thing we missed was a cheese grater...

A Gem

Three secluded lodges in the hosts back garden. Spacious. 6' comfortable bed. Modern and excellently presented. The Rhine outside the front gate. Restaurant on the river a 5 minute cycle away. Bikes provided. And everyone speaks perfect English!

We forgot our towels! And couldn't stay longer to explore the area.

A Little Oasis

We wanted a place away from tourists and we found it! This lodge was comfortable, clean, and let us relax and enjoy the sheep and chickens with a bonus of fresh eggs each morning!

Our accommodation met our needs.

We loved the quiet location and enjoyed walking the river side pathway in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy & free. The host was friendly.

Lack of hanging space & as a consequence needing to live out of our suitcases - we stayed 9 nights. Lack of storage space generally.

A wonderful home from home.

Such a peaceful spot but close to many beautiful towns and cities to visit. Best of both worlds. The lodge is modern and spacious with lovely outdoor space. We had a wonderful, restful and interesting time.

Great hosts & lovely apartment

Saskia & Pieter are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming, always ready to answer questions, give recommendations or have a chat. The apartment is a lovely place, perfect for a couple of days to find some rest. As explained the houses are located directly at the Rhine which is very nice to calm down. As well the village is great connected to drive to the beach, to Den Haag, Rotterdam or Amsterdam. Everything can be reached within 45min maximum. Thanks again for the nice stay, we enjoyed our vacation a lot!

Exceptional

We stayed for one night at the Lodges near the Rhine, in one of the chalet. Pieter and Saskia gave us a warm welcome to one of their lovely chalet. The place was very cozy and perfectly clean, with great equipment. We loved the quietness of the place and the charming garden. We would definitely visit again and recommend this place for a one-night stop or if you would like to explore the 'Groene Hart' of the country.

Super séjour.

Super séjour dans un studio/maison très joli et très confortable. Pas de voisin au dessus ni en dessous. L’hôte est très prévenant et les explications sont claires avec photos pour l’arrivée. A côté du Rhin, dans la nature avec des poules et des œufs frais et à 5 minutes en voiture d’une supérette . A 40 minutes d’un parking relais d’Amsterdam et 20 minutes d’un autre pour La Haye, emplacement idéal par rapport à ce que nous voulions faire tout en étant sécurisé et loin de l’agitation pour dormir. Très calme. Parking gratuit dans la propriété . Une belle découverte. Je recommande ++ :)

Heerlijk omgeving en je kan er echt even goed tot rust komen. Fijn plekje! Het was schoon, netjes en de gastheer had alles goed voorbereid zodat je zo het huisje in kon.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Lodges near the Rhine. Das Haus ist einfach wunderschön – liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen, gleichzeitig aber ideal, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Der Vermieter war unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und herzlich – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Geweldige plek in het groene hart.

we hadden de deluxe studio geboekt maar deze gaat met een trap naar boven en was minder geschikt voor mijn vrouw. Voor de 2 nacht kregen we van de eigenaar de superior Chalet aangeboden die een slaapkamer en badkamer en wc gelijkvloers heeft. En natuurlijk de kakel verse eitjes...

fijn en gerieflijk verblijf in uiterst ideale fietsomgeving

zeer mooie omgeving om te fietsen propere woning met alle comfort zeer behulpzame vriendelijke gastheer:vb.stande pede werd haardroger gebracht welke mijn echtgenote nodig had.

klein minpuntje:trap naar douche en toilet kan voor hoogbejaarden moeilijk zijn

Sehr weiterzuempfehlen, tolle Auszeit ☀️☀️☀️

Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und sympathisch. Wir konnten auch kostenlos Fahrräder benutzen, perfekt um die Gegend etwas zu erkunden oder zum Einkaufen zu fahren. Die Atmosphäre war sehr besonders, total entspannt und erholsam 😊👍🏼. Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage für Tagesausflüge, wobei man sich auch von der großen Bildkarte an der Wand in der Unterkunft Inspiration für Sehenswürdigkeiten holen kann. Ein Highlight waren außerdem die Hühner in der Unterkunft, die einen immer begrüßt haben wenn man zurückgekommen ist.

Schöne Unterkunft in der Nähe von Leiden und Delft.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zum Frühstück hatten wir sogar frische Eier von den hauseigenen Hühnern.
