Cozy and Bright Apartment

We stayed for 5 nights in this wonderful apartment. We especially appreciated Carla’s attitude towards us as guests. She was very thoughtful and caring, recommended some great places to visit around Madeira, and was genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. ☀️ The apartment has a very convenient layout, spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent, with a sandy beach and shops within walking distance, and Funchal is only about a 20-minute drive away. There is also a garage available for the car, which was very convenient.

For families staying in this apartment, it’s worth keeping in mind that quiet hours start after 10:00 p.m., so guests are expected to keep the noise down to avoid disturbing the neighbours. This is not a disadvantage, but it’s something good to be aware of. There is no air conditioning in the apartment, but there is a fan. Overall, if you leave the windows open overnight, the temperature inside the apartment remains comfortable. Overall, we can confidently recommend this apartment. 😊

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and felt right at home. The apartment looks exactly like it does in the photos. Carla was incredibly kind to us. Even before we arrived on the island, she gave us recommendations about what to visit and told us about the local festivities and events in Machico. She continued to do the same throughout our stay, always keeping in touch with us, which is something extremely rare in our previous accommodation experiences. She also helped us when we left by arranging a taxi for 3 a.m. so that we could get to the airport on time. We are very grateful for all the care and attention she showed us. We highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants to visit Madeira.

Oui, mais parfois en vacances, il y a des imprévus alors on a dû faire patienter l'hôte quelques minutes. C'est plus facile lorsqu'il y a une entrée autonome (style boîte à clé ou autre).

Il n'y avait pas d'équipement pour laver la vaisselle (pas d'éponge ou de brosse), pas de linge pour laver les comptoir (ou essuis-tout). Seulement du savon. Nous avons dû en acheter pour faire la vaisselle et l'entretien de la cuisine pendant notre séjour.
