Villa Shahrazad Hurghada

Villa was beautiful, and very clean. It was quiet and isolated - if this is something you like. The pool was new and very clean, and great experience, and was well used. The two sweet dogs who guard the property, very friendly and it was difficult to say goodbye to them. Mohammed who stays just behind the property, can be discreet and is available if you need anything.

When I booked the property, I was immediately notified that I need to pay 50% of the stay via PayPal, which charged 15USD, which the owner forced onto me to pay. This should be described before hand. Then when you get to the property, you have to pay in cash. Since we don't use USD or EUR, I had to go to an ATM which only lets you draw out 4,000 EGP, at a time and charges you commission each time. I had to do this 4 times which meant I paid an extra 40euros, including the PayPal fee, the owner pushed onto me. This was not a great first impression, but the villa was beautiful, and made up for it, hence my 9* review. Just the financial aspect could of been dealt with better. When we stayed there was a very strong wind, and the villa doors are fragile and make a tremendous noise when attempting to open them, I was constantly under stress to not create pressure so that the doors slam shut and break. Alot of care is needed, but we managed. Also I would like to note to take care, when guests are at the villa, one morning we got woken up at 06:30 am to someone with a lawnmower gas engine on his back, making such a noise and spraying chemicals onto the trees for mosquitoes. The chemicals then spread into the children's rooms, and stunk of mosquito spray, and the whole house was woken up. Just better care and attention should be taken when guests are staying, as this was not a nice experience. Mohammed apologized and was truly sorry, just better care and thought should be taken in the future. Overall, we had a great time, and these 2 small problems was quickly forgotten, when relaxing by the pool, in a clean beautiful villa.

Les caméras de surveillance sur la piscine nous mettent mal aleze on se sens surveillé en arrive pas à y nager et toute intimité et cela dérange notre vie privé sur la terrasse

Väktaren på villan är så hjälpsam, trots att han alltid är där så känner man inte det men när man behöver hjälp så dyker han upp och hjälper så gott han kan. Villan är lite äldre dvs gamla fönster och dörrar men funkar perfekt till alla sammanhang man behöver villan till. Det tillkom en extra kostnad på 5$/person per natt som service avgift som inte var synlig för mig ”kunden” men var synlig hos värden ”kan vara problem med booking” Men jag rekommenderar stället jätte mycket och HUNDARNA var så snälla, skyndsamma och gjorde hela mitt besök.

Gamla fönstrar och dörrar, ligger lite långt ifrån publiken och sevärdheter men absolut en escape från stadslivet…
