Superb

Location was excellent. Close to Dunoon but still very quiet. There was ample parking which was essential for us.

We wanted the one room to be a twin rather than a double but the hosts did provide a small camp bed with which we provided our own bed linen.

Fantastic holiday in a super property

Beautiful peaceful location with views of the loch and Clyde in the distance. The house is very comfortable, we relaxed straight away. The veranda/decking area was private with super views, great for eating outside. Road to property was easy to navigate....bonus was seeing deer, red squirrels on the way. Would highly recommend, and hoping to return again soon.

On arrival it was not immediately obvious how to get to "Lochview" as numbered 11 Deercroft....perhaps directions could be clearer (or a simple map) from the shore road....we were of course tired from travelling so not really a negative as such.

Stay at Lodge was excellent could not fault in any way and would definitely recommend 😀

Location was stunning.

Not much for kids aged 5 & 6 to do although the swimming pool in Dunoon was free, had to book and only 45 minute slot, pool was sectioned off so more people could use at same time, understand why due to restrictions but not ideal. Putting and soft play also free during summer time. Everyone at these activities were excellent and very friendly, full marks to you all.

Accommodation was well prepared for visitors. Felt like home from home.

Condition of lane leading from main road to accommodation it terrible will pot holes. Couldn't access through main holiday camp site.

Fantastic place, pleasant area, great all round, just that road/farm track was a massive minus,

Keys were in a safe box, clean, comfortable, everything that we needed was in the chalet, nice log stove if required, pleasant area, nice outlook. close to where we wanted to be.

I must say that if i was to book this again,, i would take my tractor with me,, the recommended road to the chalet i'm sorry to say would put any 4x4 vehicle to shame. this was the only down side to my time in this chalet ! And believe me, i live in a very rural area ,, so i can make a judgement on this !!
