First of all, the hosts were extremely friendly and kind (they brought us fruit and sweets and even gave us a bottle of wine of their own making upon our departure). They were also very accommodating regarding the checkout time. The location is nice and very peaceful. Finally, they agreed to our stay (with a surcharge) despite the fact that we had three dogs with us, which is often a problem even in accommodations that advertise themselves as pet-friendly.
The internet did not work for the first two days of our stay. There was no microwave in the kitchen and no washing machine, although both are listed on the website. The apartment appears to be in need of some renovation; for example, the shower in the bathroom leaked quite heavily, and the bathroom was very cold in December.

We loved everything, the apartment is really nice and comfortable, the beach is 4 minutes walk away (not 5 minutes, 4 minutes), the village is nice and peaceful with friendly neighbours that say hello to you when you pass them by, share their produce with you and you can buy fresh oysters (directly from the sea) and fish (same) from locals right at the beach, just amazing! The owners are friendly and responsive and great to chat with over a glass of wine. Great restaurants just 10 minutes away serving fresh seafood (yes, fresh from Adriatic on the day you order). Not to mention great location for exploring the best and finest of Croatia (Ston is an amazing little town with great walls, Dubrovnik is just under an hour away). We can only recommend thus hidden gem
Nothing so say, we liked everything, but if you are looking for a crowded tourist spot, this village might not be the one for you (you would still love the apartment).
