Great place! Initially I was making the reservation just 3 days prior to arrival to Phu Quoc, and this was the only place I could find that offered a decent price. I'm glad to say that my expectations were surpassed, room (I was staying in a 4 person room, alone) and bathroom were huge and clean. Room was being cleaned daily and the towels were changed at the same time. Hotel is located right on the main road to south of the island so a scooter is mandatory, which I was able to rent over the hotel for 160k VND day, which seems to be the standard price in several places in Vietnam that I visited. On top of that the price of the room was very affordable, I paid 106 euros for a 7 day stay. Internet was fast and reliable, overall this was a great stay!

This isn't strictly connected to the hotel itself, I'm just not the fan of how they've been developing tourism on Phu Quoc. They seem to be going for mass tourism with all the negative consequences that brings. You have three beaches near the hotel, Sao, Khem and the one in Sun City. Sun City and Khem seem to have been developed by the same company as they are built in sort of Mediterranean style that is completely out of place in VN. They seem planned and built for profit extraction as they lack a soul and are pretty inauthentic. This is very noticeable in Sun City which is better named Ghost City as it seems pretty empty. Buildings seem vacant, with only the ground floor occupied by restaurants/hotels/shops etc. From the Sun City you can take the longest cable car in the world (almost 8km long) to Hon Thom island where there is an amusement and an aqua park. While the cable car ride is impressive I was not impressed with what is on the other side. If you are with children it would probably be fun for them as the park is Disneyland like. Sao beach was a bit better as it hasn't been as overdeveloped as Khem, but they are going in that direction, heavy machinery was present and they are building more hotels/restaurant there. Also there is quite a bit of trash on Sao beach, but not on Khem. Khem seems to be better maintained.

Für den günstigen Preis kann man Nix sagen, Zimmer war sauber nur die Matratze war sehr hart, die Ausstattung war ok für eine Nacht. Aber man kann nur Bar zahlen!

It was a good value and authentic Vietnamese guesthouse which was clean. AC worked well and the staff were friendly.

The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.
